That’s why we’ve developed the PT+ Course: An Advanced Personal Trainer Development Course. 

As an advanced course for personal trainers, this week-long course is designed to empower you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the modern fitness world. In an industry that’s constantly changing, we believe in preparing our students for success!

WHAT YOU GET

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?

This course is aimed at all fitness professionals, however qualified Personal Trainers who have already obtained their Level 3 in Personal Training qualification would benefit the most. If you do not already hold a Level 3 in Personal Training then we strongly advice obtaining this before completing this PT+ course.

Learning Outcomes

Throughout this practical 5-day PT+ course we’ll take you through 5 key areas designed to improve your knowledge, skills as well as enhance your business offering through vital digital skills. This advanced training for Personal Trainers will focus on:

1. Application of Strength & Power

Understand how to utilise and programme both strength and power development in training. You will learn a depth of knowledge about the nervous system and how it interacts with athletic performance. You will also understand the principles and parameters necessary to develop these aspects of human performance.

2. Barefoot Running & Foot Mechanics

An understanding about the mechanics of the foot an ankle can shine a light on some of the myriad physical ailments that humans deal with. On this workshop you will understand how the foot interacts with the floor during exercise, and how a healthy foot/ankle complex functions. A healthy foot and ankle might just be the missing link that enhances health across the body.

3. Soft Tissue Management and Posture

Postural enhancement is an area of the fitness industry that can underpin a healthy, and pain-free life. The lifestyle factors we live with today may not be conducive to the betterment of our health, despite enhancing our convenience and productivity. On this workshop you will learn about the primary postural issues we face, understand strategies for their improvement, and gain an insight into how best to manage soft tissue maintenance.

4. Advanced Bodyweight Training

Bodyweight training comes in many forms, and can be enhanced when implemented with some specific tools. We utilise some of our key partnerships with ANKORR, Stick Mobility, and the T2 isotrainer to take bodyweight exercises to a completely new level!

5. Video Content Creation

In the modern fitness industry ‘every trainer, every gym, and every small business is a media company’. Understanding creation, editing, and messaging in your online content is vital, and might just be the aspect that makes your business a greater success. You will leave this workshop with a bank of content that YOU have created, and an enhanced understanding of how to utilise it.

 

Course Structure

This is 5 day intensive, practical workshop and will take place at our head quarters – Blunsdon Fitness, in Swindon.

We limit our group sizes to ensure you get an intense, personal learning experience. The workshops are extremely practical and you will receive close feedback under a watchful eye of our expert tutor.

About Your Fitness Instructor

Stu is the founder of T2. In 2008, after 7 years experience as a personal trainer, he decided to branch into the education side of the industry and in 2011, T2 Fitness Education was born. Alongside running T2 Fitness Education and training elite athlete clients, Stu is also the syllabus creator for many of our courses which are accredited by various industry bodies.
