COURSE OVERVIEW

If your passion is in elite performance, then our Level 4 Certificate In Strength and Conditioning course is perfect for you. This course builds on your PT knowledge and equips you with the skills and knowledge to work in the high-octane world of athletic performance. You’ll learn what it takes to help clients reach their peak performance through advanced training methods. 

You’ll also learn what it takes to achieve marginal gains from effective programming, pushing the boundaries of mobility and stability through biomechanics, having an advanced understanding of rest and recovery, and the interpersonal coaching skills to motivate and drive performance.

WHAT YOU GET

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?

In order to take this course you must have already completed our your Level 3 Personal Trainer Qualification.

This course is aimed at established Personal Trainers who have a passion for elite performance. This is a Continued Professional Development (CPD) Course designed to give you specialised skills as a PT.

Becoming a Strength & Conditioning specialist requires an enhanced understanding of fitness, anatomy, periodisation, posture and technique to help the athletic population improve their prospect of success in their chosen field. By the end of this course, you’ll be able to design and deliver effective programmes suited to athletes of all ability levels and ambitions.

  • Technical approaches to athletic development using strength training, plyometric, SAQ, power and CV approaches
  • How to analyse sport-specific, positional and athlete-specific needs
  • Programme development for the athletic population
  • Advanced resistance training and cardiovascular techniques to accelerate performance including SAQ, Plyometrics, Power and Olympic Lifting
  • Periodisation and effective planning for athletic events
  • Client assessments to include needs analysis of current ability, sports necessity and positional requirements

Course Structure

Strength and Conditioning Training instructor course at T2 Fitness

This course is held as a 5 day face-to-face course held over 5 consecutive weeks. You will attend in person to train with our experienced tutors at our training centre in Swindon. You’ll train with industry leading educators who are experts in this field.

We limit our group sizes to ensure you get an intense learning experience. The workshops are extremely practical and you will receive close feedback under a watchful eye of our expert tutor.

Be more of a resource to the athletic community and gain a Level 3 Sports Massage Therapy qualification. As you’ll learn on this course, rest is important and injuries do happen. With a qualification in sports massage, you’ll be able to help with minor treatment of injuries, aid recovery and improve muscle function.

About Your Fitness Instructor

Stu is the founder of T2. In 2008, after 7 years experience as a personal trainer, he decided to branch into the education side of the industry and in 2011, T2 Fitness Education was born. Alongside running T2 Fitness Education and training elite athlete clients, Stu is also the syllabus creator for many of our courses which are accredited by various industry bodies.
