In order to take this course you must have already completed our your Level 3 Personal Trainer Qualification.

This course is aimed at established Personal Trainers who have a passion for enhanced performance. This is a Continued Professional Development (CPD) Course designed to give you specialised skills as a PT.

This suspended movement training course will teach you the skills and knowledge to design and deliver functional, fun and effective workouts for a wide range of clients. Suspended movement is becoming an increasingly popular and accessible workout, so the demand for qualified instructors is growing and offers the chance to improve your earnings. By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • A background to Suspended Movement training, including the types of suspended training equipments available
  • How to safely set up training systems, including how to improvise rigging and anchor points safely for training in different environments
  • The benefits of suspended movement training and how it is a function training tool, designed to help clients of different demographics to reach their goals
  • How to identify, perform and instruct a range of suspended movement exercises, including strength, core and cardio targeted exercises
  • How to plan a suspended movement training session including warm up, main exercises and cool-down. You will learn how to vary your session design to keep clients engaged with a dynamic workout

Our 1 day Suspended Movement Training Course takes place at T2 Fitness HQ, Blunsdon Fitness in Swindon

It offers a state of the art gym and fitness centre to give you the best training environment. We limit our group sizes to ensure you enjoy plenty of individual attention with real-time feedback and coaching.

For assessment, you will complete worksheets and session plans before delivering a practical session of your own design to the other group members.

With this qualification, you will become able to specialise in suspended movement exercise sessions and carve a niche within functional training for clients of all abilities and backgrounds. You will also be able to incorporate suspended movement training in your existing personal training sessions. You will also be able to create small group exercise classes using this equipment.

Suspended Movement Training opens the world of functional fitness which is an important principle for many specialist populations, as well as sports performance. Combine with other functional training techniques such as Kettlebell Trainer and ViPR.

Master: Become a Movement Specialist

Our Movement Specialist diploma is designed for those who have a particular interest in biomechanics and pain-free function. This focus of this diploma is teaching an understanding of developing motion and techniques. Suitable for beginners, it includes our Personal Training Diploma, Suspended Movement Training, Kettlebell Training, Level 3 Matwork Pilates and First Aid.

Stu is the founder of T2. In 2008, after 7 years experience as a personal trainer, he decided to branch into the education side of the industry and in 2011, T2 Fitness Education was born. Alongside running T2 Fitness Education and training elite athlete clients, Stu is also the syllabus creator for many of our courses which are accredited by various industry bodies.
